Home Appliance Solutions, LLC dba Rangaire (“Rangaire,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Rangaire online store and website at rangaire.com, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”). Our store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase through the Services, or otherwise communicate with us. If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to the collection, processing, and disclosure of your personal information.

The Services are hosted by Shopify. Shopify collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services to provide and improve its platform. Information you submit via the Services may be transmitted to and shared with Shopify and third parties (which may be located outside your country) to operate and improve the Services. We also use certain Shopify enhanced features that incorporate data from your interactions with our store, other merchants, and Shopify. In those circumstances, Shopify is responsible for processing and for responding to rights requests related to that processing.

Children’s Data

The Services are not intended for children under the age of majority where you reside, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent/guardian and believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us (see Contact) and we will take appropriate steps to delete the information. As of the effective date of this Policy, we do not have actual knowledge that we “sell” or “share” (as defined by applicable law) personal information of individuals under 16.


Security and Retention

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect personal information; however, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Do not use unsecure channels to transmit sensitive information. We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements, after which we delete or de-identify the information.

If you visit our site with the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal enabled, we will treat it as an opt-out request for the device and browser you use (and apply it to your Shopify account if we can associate it). Aside from GPC, we do not respond to other Do Not Track signals.

We may need to verify your identity to process requests. You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf; we may require proof of authorization and direct verification. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

International Transfers

Your information may be transferred, stored, or processed outside your country. Where required, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms (e.g., EU Standard Contractual Clauses and UK equivalents) unless the destination country has been deemed adequate.


Messaging Terms and Conditions (SMS)

By providing your phone number and agreeing to receive texts, you consent to receive text messages from Rangaire, from 877-793-2331, regarding account notifications, customer care, delivery updates, and marketing messages. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time or HELP for assistance. Data Sharing (SMS-Specific)

  • Customer data is not shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
  • Mobile opt-in and consent data are never shared with anyone for any purpose. Any information sharing described elsewhere in this policy excludes mobile opt-in data.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal, regulatory, or operational reasons. We will post the revised Privacy Policy on this page, update the “Last Updated” date, and provide notice as required by law.
